The Regional Vice President (RVP) Insurance is a highly experienced sales leader who provides expert level crop insurance and sales guidance, creates a positive team environment, thrives in a fast paced, competitive market and has a proven change management mindset that is focused on growth.
This position reports to SVP Insurance and will lead a team of successful and results driven salespeople.
This role will require that you spend around 50% of your time on day-time travel within the region.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead and coach the insurance sales functions to increase market share and provide excellent customer service, planning marketing strategies, monitoring sales activities, and serving as a resource for insurance updates and trends.
Resolve customer problems with third parties, conduct region-wide training, and potentially handling large or complex customers and determining insurance business placement with approved vendors.
Utilize reporting to coach sales teammates on accurate pipeline management of sales opportunities.
Collaborate with other local leadership to leverage individual marketplace data including market share and competitor information to allocate resource alignment.
In conjunction with SVP Insurance Sales, RVP Lending, and Sales Enablement, develop and execute customized go to market strategies that align with the Association's overall strategy.
Align, lead and coach team centered around regional sales and marketing plan.
Continually measuring and validating results and key metrics to increase retention and grow market share.
Develop and maintain a professional presence in the assigned territory, building relationships with key influencers, and promoting the Associations' image as an industry leader.
Provide feedback to leadership on team performance and recognize efficiencies to increase profits and market share to be gained by analyzing new products, process, and service offerings.
Additional ResponsibilitiesServe as a conduit for the SVP Insurance to execute the Insurance Agency Acquisition Strategy.
This includes assisting in strategy, identifying opportunities, developing relationships with agency owners, creating an opportunity pipeline, and coordinating with senior executives through the sales process.
In coordination with the VP of Insurance Support lead the processing of insurance documents, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and working with Insurance Support team and AIP Specialist to standardize processing.
Resolve policy problems, provide input to achieve processing quality and optimum customer experience, meeting processing deadlines, and delivering training sessions to educate team members and agents.
Participate as a team member in key industry events, maintaining industry relationships with companies, key partners, and influencersServe as liaison to VP-Insurance Support to implement and coordinate AIP reviews and changes, new products, and interpretation and implementation of State and Federal regulations.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
