DESCRIPTION AND
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Procurement Quality Assurance. Responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control plans, FEMA, and PPAP as required to assure product conformance to the customers' requirements; and to monitor company progress in continuous improvement in quality costs.
Responsible for monitoring system performance and auditing company to AS9100;2009, ISO 9001:2008, and NADCAP requirements. Responsible for overseeing / coordinating Quality Systems Management Review.
Responsible for identifying and developing quality system solutions and enhancements. Coordinate and implementing any changes in conjunction with the company wide needs and goals. Responsible for overseeing the development and documentation of standardized part inspection procedures and processes for the quality organization. Responsible for assisting manufacturing in developing the manufacturing process validation checks, SPC checks, for operators to verify the production process' are producing acceptable product.
Responsible for establishing quality standards, procedures, and quality performance targets for the quality, suppliers, and manufacturing; including auditing and reporting on individual area performance. Responsible for developing and implementing historical records for use in frequency reports and trending of quality performance.
Responsible for maintaining drawing and specification controls within the plant, and reviewing engineering changes for impact on the manufacturing and inspection processes as well as documentation requirements.
Responsible for representing the companies interests in customer and supplier issues. Responsible for assuring good communication and business relationships with the customer and supply base contacts.
Responsible for monitoring manufacturing cause and corrective action responses for effective actions; offers input, as required. Monitors quality trends and reports trends, costs, and activities to improve the processes to the president and his staff. Requires active participation in the development of new processes, equipment, or materials to reduce cost or improve quality or output.
Responsible for assuring area employees are properly trained and are capable of operating his/her assigned equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsible for monitoring
employee
performance, and to periodically prepare and present to each area employee an assessment of the employee's performance towards the established goals through the employee evaluation and feedback process. Monitoring should include periodic audits or review of employee activities, to include attendance, quality of work, quantity of work produced, cooperation and attitude, and job knowledge and experience applied to the work. Responsible for developing individual improvement or development action plans if performance or behavior deems necessary. Supervises the quality department personnel assigned to these areas of responsibility, performing audits and checks as necessary to assure accurate and timely completion of their assigned tasks.
Responsible for identifying systems problems, developing recommended of solutions, and implementing any necessary changes. Responsible for area automation and continuous process improvements. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of company and employee information and records. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and initiative in performing supervisory responsibilities. Extensive problem solving skills required. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A minimum of five years a Leadership / Management, preferably in a precision machine shop utilizing CMM equipment and sampling plans in assuring product quality. Requires a demonstrated track record of proactive lean quality activities which reduced the cost to manufacture and inspect the products sold. Must be able to motivate personnel in performance of their work without creating a threatened or disrupted workplace. Must have the ability to work as a trainer,
coach
, and mentor; have proven people skills; and a leader with strong communication skills. Must be able to work with little daily guidance in attaining company goals, showing a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
